Earnings Disclosure
How James Reviews Stuff is funded: zero third-party affiliate links, no sponsored posts, and only my own local lead-generation training program.
_Last updated: July 11, 2026._
I believe in keeping things completely straight with my readers. Since almost every review site on the internet is built on hidden kickbacks, I want to be 100% transparent about exactly how this blog is funded and how I run the numbers.
The Short Answer
This website uses zero third-party affiliate links, sponsored posts, or corporate software partnerships.
When I recommend a tool, it's because it's sitting on my own computer and I use it for my actual clients - I don't get a single penny or a bounty check if you click on it or buy it. When I call out a high-ticket program as a total scam, I don't follow it up by trying to slide you into a competitor's funnel just to collect a referral fee.
How I Actually Monetize This Blog
Instead of acting as a middleman for other companies or software vendors, the only thing I promote on this website is my own work: my private training program on building local lead-generation assets.
If you read my notes, look at how I run my agency, and decide you want to learn the boring, local-first playbook I use to pay my own mortgage, you can choose to join my training. That is the sole economic engine of this website.
Why I Do It This Way
I enforce this rule because it's the only way to keep my reviews completely honest. If I relied on affiliate managers to pay my bills, I'd eventually start pulling my punches. By selling my own training rather than renting my opinions out to the highest bidder, my incentives stay completely clean:
Total Editorial Freedom: I can tell you a $5,000 course is garbage with zero hesitation because I don't need their affiliate approval to keep this site online.
No Hidden Agendas: I don't rank products based on who pays the highest commission percentage. If a tool is great, I'll mention it for free. If it's a trap, I'll warn you away from it.
The Standard Reality Check
Any earnings, case studies, or revenue numbers I discuss on this site regarding my local agency work reflect real, actual results - but they are not a magical guarantee. Building a real business takes actual time, effort, and skill.
I don't sell push-button loopholes, and I don't believe in overnight internet riches. If you decide to check out my playbook, you'll see the exact math and work required to build something sustainable.
If you have any questions about how this site runs, drop me a line through the contact page and I'll give you a straight answer.
